Homemade Blueberry Jam Recipe

I made a fresh blueberry jam with the season blueberries. I added less sugar in the jam to make it not too sweet and I can’t keep it for a long time.

If you need to keep it longer, please keep the ratio between sugar and blueberries at 1:1.

  • 250g blueberries
  • 90g sugar

  1. Put the jam glass in cold water, boil it for 10 minutes to sterilize it, and dry it.
  2. Put only half of the 250g of clean-washed blueberries in a pot and add 90g of sugar.
  3. Mash blueberries with potato masher or fork.
  4. When the sugar melts, add the remaining half of the blueberries and boil them over medium heat.
  5. When it is about to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer while stirring constantly.
  6. If the concentration becomes high enough not to run down when you spoon it down, turn off the heat, cool it down, and put it in a sterilized glass bottle.
